I am one ballsey beyotch. Well, I feel like one, anyway. It’s hard handing over the ammo, you know? But there isn’t a real bullet to dodge, and I’m not going give them one by hiding my journey; Making it something of an imagined weapon in and of itself. I know they read. I’ve seen the view stats. Now they know that I know. And now I know that they know that I know.
It’s late. That is my only excuse.

I’m so sorry you’ve experienced negativity with your surrogacy! I have yet to experience it myself, either online or in real life. I’ve always been very open to everyone about my journeys, even my church, and have always been met with acceptance and grace.
I know the hate mail will eventually get to me though…..I wrote a book, lol.
Here’s to being brave and knowing that ignorance must be bliss!
Holy Pete. I wrote a message to this post earlier and I got an error message so I decided to come back later. Now that I have read more I am not even sure what to say. I don’t routinely check in here and only did so today after your email yesterday.
The only thing I will say is in regards to this post. There are no bullets being sent your way. I think you are hoping for bullets so you have something to defend, but there are no bullets. The people who you perceive as being against you are the people who KNOW and CARE about you the most, and it is only concern. In the end we know you are going to do what you want to do, and are certainly not expending energy trying to thwart you left and right. We are concerned. And that’s it.

I hope noone has the audacity to come here and say negative things, I wish everyone could see what a beautiful thing you are doing, and you are happy, so it is noone else’s business anyways to give opinions that are negative. Good luck with all the injections!!

If you have to keep it a secret or even feel inclined to then you need to think about your reasons for doing it!
Posting “protected” to save someone elses feelings is always a good idea when that is your intent.
If you are doing something bad….well then you need to think about what you are doing…
You are not doing something bad. It may not agree with everyone’s belief system…quite frankly…nothing agrees with everyones belief systems but I digress…but if you are okay with what you are doing and you are not doing it with the intent to hurt but the intent to bring great joy to someone else…how can someone be too upset about that?
Yes there are risks…walking across the WalMart parking lot has risks… but if you are smart about it…and you are…then the real possibility of the gains are going to be worth it right?
